We’re very pleased to introduce our first Nicaraguan coffee. It’s a delicious natural sourced through one of our main importing partners, DR Wakelfield.
Finca Santa Maria is located in Aranjuez, Matagalpa and grows in the shade of the forests within the LA Reserva El Arenal. The farm is owned by Victor Robelo, part of Grupo Las Nubes, it’s one of seven family farms across Matagalpa and Jinotega.
Victor’s family have been growing coffee since 1937, and despite enduring conflict and at one stage forced off their land, they managed to reclaim the land, the family has kicked on with a renewed focus on quality and sustainability.
Victor won Cup of Excellence in 2017 and credits his dedicated team in this fantastic success.
This coffee is super sweet and juicy tasting like plump blueberries and plums.
